2 Games Developed for Use in Museums
Win Awards in Serious Play Competition
LOS ANGELES – June 13, 2019 – Two serious games designed for use in Museums have been cited for excellence in the 2019 International Serious Play Award Program.
Silver Medal status went to:
- The Original Mobile Games (TOMG), offers the history and playable versions, of early hand-held games from The Strong National Museum of Play. TOMG is a co-production of The Strong, the Rochester Institute of Technology and Second Avenue Learning, Inc
Bronze Medal recognition went to:
- Their Memory: Exploring Veteran’s Voices, a VR experience designed to engage younger people with the work of Poppyscotland created by Abertay University
Winners will be given a chance to attend this summer’s Serious Play Conference Events and display their games. This year conferences will be held at the University of Central Florida (UCF) July 24-26, 2019 and the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) July 10-12.
