Four Serious Games Designed for Corporate/Vocational Skills Training
Win Awards in Annual International Competition

ORLANDO — June 21, 2022 — Four educational games developed for Corporate/Vocational Skills training have been cited for excellence in the 2022 International Serious Play Awards Program.

Gold Medals went to the following:
  • Flagship Store is a series of first person mobile microgames designed to train retail staff in a fun and engaging way. Learners participate in twelve episodes supporting a premium customer experience, branding, and customer loyalty. The fictional store is located in New York City. Flagship Store. was developed by a Dutch corporation, TRAINING.GAME, located in Amstelveen, The Netherlands.
  • Echo, Serious Game for Coaching, a dynamic game about coaching. Learners assume the role of a prestigious coach tasked with assisting an important public figure to effectively implement a global strategy to eliminate plastic from our oceans. Echo reinforces skills and abilities for; Coaching, Empathy, Assertive communication, Neutrality and Effective questioning. Echo was developed by GameLearn, located in Madrid, Spain.
  • Wheel of Fortune® Game for Training and Education, is a do-it-yourself authoring tool based on the popular TV game show. Games can be tailored to support learning objectives while simulating the experience of playing Wheel of Fortune®. The Game Agency, based in the USA (Connecticut) received an official license from Sony for this use. The Game Agency is a division of eLearning Brothers.

Silver Medals went to the following:
  • Empire, is a facilitated real-time simulation played between teams. Teams use a mix of strategic thinking, offense, defense and communication to acquire territory and gain points. Learning objectives support Agile Leadership, Communication, and Team Work. Empire was developed by Activ8 games based in Pakistan.
