A Student-Created Serious Tabletop/Games Cited In Serious Play Awards Annual International Competition

Toronto — October 17, 2023 — A student-created educational Tabletop/Board game has been cited for excellence in the 2023 International Serious Play Awards Program 

A Silver Medals went to Lightning in a Bottle. an innovative educational board game for beginner designers and design students, cited in the Higher Education category. The game transforms the design process into a strategic game, teaching players about the Double Diamond design model, research methods, ideation strategies and the deliverables used in professional design work. With its creative gameplay and visually reinforced concepts, the tabletop game is a valuable tool for teaching design thinking at both collegiate and professional levels.
