Gulliermo Fajardo: I am a Mexican fiction writer with a Ph.D. in Spanish at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. My dissertation examines the representation of violence in Mexican contemporary narrative. I am the author of four novels and two books of short stories. I currently publish at Excélsior, a Mexican national newspaper.

As an instructor of Spanish at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, I have taught basic, intermediate, and advanced Spanish courses. I have over five years of teaching experience. Throughout this period, I have helped hundreds of students to learn the culture, language, and the history of Hispanic cultures of Latin America.
