Ian Natzmer is an accomplished technical leader and EdTech advocate with a proven track record of developing groundbreaking educational games and immersive learning experiences. As an expert in harnessing the potential of AR, VR, Unity, and game development, Ian is passionate about revolutionizing the way students learn and engage with educational content. With extensive experience in building high-performance teams using Agile methodologies, Ian’s expertise lies in delivering cutting-edge, scalable products that have a transformative impact on learning outcomes.
Throughout his career, Ian has held prominent positions in leading EdTech companies, including serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Odeum Learning, where he led the development of a Unity-based game platform and authoring tool. He has also spearheaded innovative projects such as HoloLens for Logistics, AR Games for Learning and Distraction, and a Math Tower Defense Game for iOS.
Ian holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication from Lawrence Technological University. A respected thought leader in the EdTech community, he has shared his insights at numerous conferences, including the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) and the Michigan Association for Computer Assisted Learning (MACUL) Conference.
