Jami Woychesin, Ph.D., has a Master of Science in Telecommunications Systems Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Oklahoma State University. While a Ph.D. student in the Learning Technologies department at the University of North Texas in Denton, her research was focused on the effects of producing other knowledge through game-based learning such as Minecraft. Her belief is that technology education presented in a problem-based learning style environment will improve a student’s ability to problem solve and think independently.

Dr. Woychesin has worked for almost 20 years within the K-12 industry as an educator and administrator and recently served as an Instructional Designer at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She now teaches as a Guest Faculty Member for MIT World Peach University in Pune, India remotely. In addition, she owns a consulting service providing professional development in course design and gamification, inclusivity, Universal Design, and student inclusivity. Her passion is guiding students into a world of self-actualization and creativeness.
