Mick McCarthy: has worked with individuals with special needs since 1996 in a variety of capacities. She has worked with the Autism Society and the Arc. She is currently employed in a large public school district in North Carolina as a teacher for exceptional children and runs a consulting business aiding parents of students with exceptional needs. She is also an avid, lifelong gamer, hoping to bring the excitement and academic value of games to classrooms.
