Assessing the Neurodynamics of Uncertainty during Serious Play
Dr. Ronald Stevens’ current research focuses on using EEG-derived measures to study team neurodynamics in settings as diverse as Submarine Piloting and Navigation by Navy teams and high school problem solving. These studies are leading to quantitative teamwork models showing how teams cognitively organize in response to environmental and task changes, and are providing a framework for training machines to understand neural correlates of team uncertainty. This research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, DARPA, Office of Naval Research, Department of Education, and private donors.
