Sarah O’Donnell leads the Special Operations Program for the National Security Engineering Center FFRDC administered by MITRE, a not-for-profit organization that operates research and development centers for the federal government. Ms. O’Donnell is a physicist and strategist with over 20 years of experience in leading and contributing to strategic innovation, technical development and operational acquisition programs for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Ms. O’Donnell has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Virginia. She reached the dissertation stage of her Ph.D. in Applied Physics at the University of Virginia.
