More than a simple toy, LEGO has the power to stimulate, challenge existing norms, amplify student voice and foster caring communities in your classroom. You’ll learn about the simplicity of LEGO SERIOUS Play and how it can transform learning, in any K-12 context. Used as a facilitation tool by leading corporations, LSP is designed to break down communication barriers and to foster innovation, by challenging participants to construct metaphorical models of abstract concepts, relationships, values and imagine potential solutions to real-world problems. Through a series of LEGO build challenges, this hands-on workshop challenges participants to play, laugh, build, and collaborate in new ways; to better understand the technique and to see its simplicity and versatility, within education.
